A strong earthquake struck Istanbul

On September 26, a magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck Istanbul, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.

 

 

According to the Russian Consulate General in Turkey, no Russian tourists were injured as a result of the earthquake.

"There have been no reports of Russians injured in the earthquake. The Russian Consulate General in Istanbul is operating normally," reads a message posted on Facebook.
