Four missing Russian tourists have been rescued in Thailand.

Thai police rescued four Russian tourists who went missing near Koh Chang, local media reported.

 

 

As it became known, on Wednesday, December 4, four Russian travelers set off on kayaks to a neighboring island on Khum, but due to Due to a severe storm, they were unable to return. Fortunately, the travelers managed to contact friends in Russia, who, in turn, reported the incident to Thai authorities, The Nation writes.

However, due to a storm, the rescue operation was postponed. The first two tourists were discovered by local fishermen, and the second kayak with the Russian travelers was found by rescuers on December 5.

According to the publication, the tourists were exhausted due to a lack of fresh water and hunger. They are now under medical observation.
