Direct flights will connect Sochi and Bahrain, with the first flight scheduled for June 15, 2020.
During the event, the resort administration held negotiations with the federal operator on the issue of organizing tourist flow from the Persian Gulf countries to Sochi "Our own TS," the Sochi Administration press service reported, adding that this was announced during the 40th international tourism exhibition FITUR 2020 in Madrid.
Furthermore, it is noted that direct flights to Sochi from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will significantly simplify travel and contribute to the development of tourist flow.
It should be added that airliners have not previously operated flights on this route.
