Shops, museums, and some restaurants in Finland are closed on Christmas Day—December 25 and 26. However, winter sales will begin across the country on December 27 and last for four weeks, according to Travel.ru.
After the New Year holidays, Finnish stores reopen on January 2, so Russian tourists visiting for the winter holidays will have time to fully enjoy their shopping.
Discounts on a wide range of items reach up to 80%, offered by both large shopping centers and small boutiques. Discounts at the beginning of the sale are usually not as steep as at the end, but the selection is wider.
