Aeroflot has extended the discounted fare for flights from Moscow to Helsinki. The price of a roundtrip ticket starts at 8,723 rubles, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.
Tickets are on sale until at least January 11, with travel possible until March 24. Tickets cannot be returned, fees are also not refunded, exchange is possible by paying a fee of 100 euros and an additional payment up to the tariff in effect at the time of exchange. Let us remind you that Aeroflot has increased the number of flights to Helsinki from October 29.
The fare is a response to Finnair's promotion, which has a similar price available for the entire sales depth until the middle of next year. The ticket price starts from 9,280 rubles on the Finnair website, but agents may have the same tickets cheaper. Returns and exchanges are not allowed, and the fare includes 23 kilograms of baggage. Finnair will also increase the number of flights on this route.
When buying any tickets on the Aeroflot website (as well as almost all other Russian carriers), you should keep in mind that the airline includes insurance in the ticket by default. This practice, prohibited in the EU countries, can lead to a loss of 400 rubles on each ticket. To avoid becoming a victim of an insurance trick, in most cases you need to click on the "in order" field on the insurance services selection page during the ticket booking process.
If a passenger has nevertheless fallen into a trap and paid for unnecessary insurance, it can still be cancelled. In this case, before the start of the flight, you should notify the airline about the cancellation of the insurance service and demand a refund for the insurance.
