French airline Aigle Azur intends to open flights from Marseille to Moscow in the spring. Flights will be operated twice a week from March 31, reports our own correspondent Travel.ru.
Departure from Marseille on Thursdays and Sundays at 21.30, arrival in Moscow (Domodedovo airport) at 2.25. Return departure on Mondays and Fridays at 3.30, arriving in Marseille at 6.30. The route will be operated by an Airbus A320.
The minimum price for one-way tickets is 84 euros without baggage and 119 euros with baggage, round-trip tickets are 191 and 261 euros respectively. The choice of a seat in any of these options costs from 6 euros. As is known, Aeroflot is also planning to open flights in the same direction.
Let us recall that Aigle Azur plans to gradually increase the frequency of flights on its existing route from Paris to Moscow by spring. Instead of the two flights per week it currently operates, it intends to operate four.
In addition to the existing departures from Paris (Orly Airport) at 22:45 on Fridays and Sundays, departures on Wednesdays will be added from February 13, and on Mondays from March 4 (arriving at Moscow Domodedovo Airport at 4:30). The return departure at 5:30 with arrival in Paris at 7:30 is currently carried out on Mondays and Saturdays, and flights on Thursdays will be added from February 14, and on Tuesdays from March 5. The same flight frequency is also expected in the summer schedule, sales for which are now open.
The route uses an Airbus A320 aircraft. The lowest ticket price found is currently €74 one-way and €189 return. The price does not include baggage or seat selection. The option with baggage is €35 more expensive each way.
