Negotiations on resuming air travel between Russia and the Egyptian resorts of Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh are scheduled for late spring or early summer, Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov announced, according to RIA Novosti.

He recalled that regular air traffic Flights between Moscow and Cairo will resume soon, and airlines are already adding flights to their schedules for April.
"We will revisit this issue (of resuming flights between Russia and Egyptian resorts – Ed.) after the Moscow-Cairo route opens and we study the experience of operating in new formats. Accordingly, negotiations on this issue are scheduled for late spring, perhaps early summer," Sokolov said in an interview with the Rossiya 24 television channel on Wednesday.
Aeroflot will begin flying this route on April 11, 2018, and EgyptAir on April 12.
The issue of resuming charter flights between Russian cities and the Egyptian resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh is planned for discussion in the spring, Sokolov said earlier.
