Aeroexpress buses at Sheremetyevo have extended operating hours

Aeroexpress, the company that provides transportation to Moscow airports, announced a slight increase in the operating hours of buses #1195, which connect the Khovrino metro station and Sheremetyevo-1 (B) terminal. As of July 10, operating hours have been extended by half an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening, reports Travel.ru's own correspondent.

However, it still doesn't align with the metro's operating hours: buses depart from the metro between 6:30 AM and 10:00 PM and from the airport between 7:00 AM and 10:30 PM. The service interval is also inconvenient—every 30 minutes (initially, when it launched in October last year, the interval was 15 minutes). The fare was increased in February from 150 to 200 rubles.

However, this is currently the fastest way to get to Sheremetyevo by public transport for most passengers traveling from Moscow. It's worth noting that the bus only serves the northern terminals of Sheremetyevo-1 (B) and C. The underground shuttle train connecting them with the other terminals will resume service on July 15, and Sheremetyevo-3 (D) is scheduled to reopen for flights on July 27.

Passengers who don't want to spend 200 rubles on bus #1195 but prefer the fast, toll-free M-11 highway may want to consider another option from the Khovrino metro station. This option involves taking buses #283 or #283k to the Sheremetyevskoye Shosse stop and transferring there to bus #851 from the stop on the opposite side of the road to the airport. Regular city tickets are accepted. In some cases, this option may even be faster than bus #1195, which currently only runs every half hour.
