Dietrich: Pobeda does not plan to leave the Aeroflot group

The issue of low-cost airline Pobeda leaving the Aeroflot group of companies is not currently being considered. This was stated by the head of the Russian Ministry of Transport, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aeroflot Evgeny Ditrikh.

Let us recall that it became known earlier that the head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Igor Artemyev has proposed the privatization of Pobeda. In his opinion, such a measure could have a positive effect on the development of domestic transportation.

However, as Mr. Dietrich noted, one should definitely not count on such changes in the near future. "Like any idea, it must be worked out to understand why we need it. If colleagues tell us in detail about their creative thoughts, we will think about it, but today Pobeda was conceived as a low-cost airline, it closes its passenger segment at Aeroflot, and for now we do not plan to separate it," he said, TASS reports.

Let us add that in July it became known that in July 2019 Pobeda announced the launch of its own tour operator PobedaTravel.
