Tour operators Fund Mira and Vedi TUR Elite have announced the termination of tour operator activities in the field of outbound tourism; a register of unfulfilled obligations of the companies will be formed on August 24, Interfax-Tourism reports with reference to Rostourism.
"Tour operators OOO TK "Fond Mira" and OOO "Vedi TUR Elite" announced the termination of their activities in the field of outbound tourism. Thus, the companies will be excluded from the association "Turpomoshch" with the subsequent return of funds from the personal liability fund. The formation of the register of unfulfilled obligations to third parties will begin on August 24," the statement says.
At a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Association of Tour Operators in the Outbound Tourism Sector "Turpomoshch", the management of "Vedi TOUR Elite" stated that the company has no unfulfilled obligations to clients, and the last obligations of the TC "Peace Fund", according to its management, will be fulfilled on August 24.
The meeting also discussed the issue of returning funds from the personal liability fund of Matryoshka-Tour LLC due to the fact that it was excluded from Tourpomoshch due to non-payment of membership fees. According to the tour operator's management, the company has no unfulfilled obligations.
The association decided to start forming a register of tourists' demands to the tour operator "Matryoshka-tour". If there are no applications from tourists, then after 30 days the company's funds will be returned.
