Flydubai plans to consolidate all its Dubai-Moscow flights to Vnukovo Airport starting February 1. The final flight to Sheremetyevo will take place on January 31. Ellinair will also make a similar switch at the same time, according to Travel.ru.
The flight schedule will remain virtually unchanged, with departures from Dubai at 3:20 AM and 9:10 AM, and from Moscow at 9:00 AM and 2:40 PM. However, during the winter, most flights are only operated once a day, with some days having no flights at all. The route is operated by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
flydubai initially launched daily flights to Vnukovo in 2014. Since the end of 2017, the carrier has also added flights to Sheremetyevo. The company will now focus its efforts on Vnukovo.
Ellinair will begin flights to Vnukovo on February 3. It flies to Moscow from Thessaloniki, and outside the winter season, also from Athens and some Greek islands.
