At the INNOPROM-2018 international exhibition in Yekaterinburg, the Gora Belaya ski resort presented a model of the ski resort project in Nizhny Tagil, on the slopes of which reconstruction will take place, and on the official website on the social network VKontakte The tourism cluster published a video of the future resort.
The video shows what the ski resort will look like in the future, as well as some of the work that will be carried out and what will be located on the slopes.
Thus, the tourism cluster will include 15 facilities, with a total area of 2,400 square kilometers and will affect 15 settlements.
The video shows that the area will feature hotel complexes, campgrounds, restaurants, skating rinks, sports facilities, petting zoos, and museums of Ural cultures. The western slope will be reconstructed and will feature tubing runs, a children's area, modernized ski lifts, economy-class hotels with five-bed rooms and entertainment clubs, a pedestrian zone, three-star and five-star hotels, family hotels, spa centers, townhouses, restaurants, and the start of a hiking trail. A walking area, snowmobile riding areas, and horseback riding areas will also be located there.
New snow slopes and a ski lift will be built on the southern slope, while the summit of the mountain's eastern slope will house a restaurant, a spa, five-star accommodations, a resort center, single-family chalets, and a ski area.
The official website of the Belaya Mountain ski resort notes that the cluster's reconstruction will take place over the course of 10 years, with the involvement of small and medium-sized businesses.
