The next National Tourism Forum "Rivers of Russia" will start in Zavidovo on October 5, 2018.

The event's program promises to be action-packed. Experts will discuss the development of cruise tourism in the Volga Basin regions, infrastructure, and organizational opportunities. multimodal transportation (railway + cruise), and will also summarize the results of the 2018 cruise season.
A demonstration of future infrastructure facilities of the Volga Sea cluster will also be organized for media representatives.
It should be noted that the Volga Sea project has been awarded the status of a priority investment project for the Tver Region within the framework of the Federal Target Program (FTP) "Development of Domestic and Inbound Tourism in the Russian Federation" for 2019–2025.
The cost of creating this cruise tourism and recreation cluster in the Tver region is over 9 billion rubles, 80% of which is private investment: over 1.5 billion rubles will come from the federal budget, private investment will amount to approximately 7.2 billion rubles, and regional co-financing will amount to approximately 300 million rubles.
