At the Rosa Khutor resort in the Sochi mountain cluster, special measures have been taken for the safety of the youngest guests in the 2018 season. Children can easily get lost in the vast territory of the resort, the length of the ski slopes of which exceeds 100 kilometers, so at the ticket offices and information centers of Rosa Khutor, parents are given special cards that should be filled out and put in the pocket of the young skier's clothes. Thanks to this solution, the employees of the ski resort will be able to easily contact the parents of the child.
As reported by Interfax, the Chalet cable car at the Rosa Khutor resort has been equipped for the first time in Russia with special child restraints that prevent children from slipping off the chair. There are also signs there to help children and their parents stand at the right turnstile gates, and bright and cheerful stickers with the basic rules for safe skiing have appeared on the handrails of the lift. In addition, the resort's rental points provide children with protective helmets for free.
