Intourist has expanded its regional programs to Japan.

This season, tour operator Intourist offers sightseeing tours to Japan from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Ufa, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, and Kazan.

 

 

As the company's press service told the TRN portal, regional programs These flights are primarily focused on arrivals and departures from Tokyo. From Moscow, Intourist offers direct flights on Japan Airlines and Aeroflot. There are also flights to Japan with connections in Novosibirsk and Irkutsk on S7 Airlines. St. Petersburg residents have another alternative to Moscow: Finnair flights from Helsinki.

Finnair offers flights from Moscow and St. Petersburg to both Tokyo (Narita Airport) and Osaka airports with connections via Helsinki. Vladivostok offers direct flights to Tokyo and Osaka.

Intourist's group excursion programs begin on Sundays. The range includes excursion routes of varying regions and durations.

The "Japan from East to West plus Shikoku" tour. During this 11-day journey, tourists will explore the Japanese capital, learn about samurai culture and Buddhist traditions, participate in a tea ceremony, visit Kyoto and the famous Kinkakuji Golden Pavilion, a kimono factory, and Nijo Castle, famous for its "nightingale" floors, as well as stroll through the ancient geisha district. The tour also offers the opportunity to explore Japanese culture independently: free time is included in Osaka and Tokyo.

The "Japan from East to West plus Shikoku" tour starts at 166,833 rubles per person. The package includes hotel accommodations as per the itinerary (with breakfast included); seven group excursions with a Russian-speaking guide as per the itinerary, including entrance fees; five lunches as per the itinerary; and group airport-hotel-airport transfer by minibus. Flights are paid separately.
