Tutu.ru specialists analyzed all air tickets issued on the service, starting from 2015, to find out how much time passengers spend on average in the city of arrival and whether there is an increase in demand for short trips. Based on the results of the study, a rating was compiled Russian cities where passengers spend the longest and shortest time between flights. Average prices are given for round trip flight.
Overall, the duration of trips has not changed much over the past four years, everything is stable both in the number of short and other duration trips. The vast majority of passengers (87%) buy a ticket with a stay in the city of arrival of no more than 15 days, and about a third of them spend no more than three days there. No more than 13% passengers spend more than 15 days in the city before the return flight.
Passengers spend twelve or more days in Magadan, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Nalchik. People go to Magadan for an average of 17 days, which is quite logical, given the high price of tickets and the length of the flight.
Tickets for resort cities such as Simferopol, Anapa, Gelendzhik, and Mineralnye Vody are most often purchased with a return flight in 10–11 days.
Penza and Cheboksary topped the list of cities where short-term tickets were most often issued - for about three days.
