Experts from the travel service Tutu.ru analyzed airfare bookings since the beginning of the year and identified the most expensive bookings. The selection primarily included bookings where travelers were flying in couples, choosing business class and roundtrip flights.
How The company's press service told TRN that the couple's most expensive trip was to America. They flew from Moscow to New York, then transferred to Miami, and from there returned to Moscow. They paid 690,000 rubles for the business class flight. This trip took place after the January holidays.
The second most expensive flight was Moscow-Male. Maldives vacationers paid 685,000 rubles for two tickets. Third place went to a trip from Moscow to Cancun, with two roundtrip tickets costing 635,000 rubles. Fourth place was the only domestic route included in the ranking. A family of three flew to Gorno-Altaysk for the May holidays, with tickets costing 604,000 rubles. A married couple paid half a million rubles for a flight to Singapore. A retired couple from Moscow flew to Los Angeles for 461,000 rubles.
Solo travelers also made it onto the list of the most expensive flights. A traveler flew to Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, for 317,000 rubles.
The most expensive ticket from Khabarovsk was to Auckland, costing travelers 381,000 rubles. From St. Petersburg, the most expensive ticket was to Toronto.
