Two weeks of the Russian Hospitality Awards application campaign are behind us. It's time to take stock.

During the first day of the awards ceremony, the phone rang nonstop, meaning the participants were just as eager for the event to begin as the organizers. Over the course of the 14 days of the project, the Award team received 96 Applications from hotels across Russia were received. Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Sochi were the leading cities in terms of number of applications.
Over the years, the "4-Star Business Hotel" category has proven to be the most popular among nominees. The fifth anniversary edition of the Award was no exception: 17 hotels registered on the website, choosing this category.
The new awards category, "Wedding Hotel," generated particular excitement. Eleven hotels have already submitted case studies of hosting the best wedding ceremony. The top five most popular categories also included "Family Hotel," "Countryside Hotel," and "Discovery of the Year."
The Award team encourages hotel developers to actively participate in our competition, as becoming "Developer of the Year" is a significant achievement. Developers are at the forefront of new hotel construction and lay the foundation for a successful business.
The organizing committee is pleased to welcome new project participants who have already submitted their applications: Hilton Garden Inn Novorossiysk, Hyatt Regency Moscow Petrovsky Park, SO/ St. Petersburg, Green Flow Sochi.
They say fortune favors beginners. Whether this is true or not will be revealed at the most stylish evening of the winter—the Russian Hospitality Awards gala dinner, which will take place in February 2019. The time and location of the Awards have not yet been announced, but we'll lift the veil of secrecy—the anniversary Awards has many surprises in store for its guests.
