How to avoid gaining extra pounds while vacationing in an all-inclusive hotel?

All-inclusive hotel lovers enjoy a comfortable and carefree holiday, but some find it difficult to resist overeating when food and drinks are available without restrictions. Some people bring back from such a hotel not only good impressions, but also a couple of extra pounds.

At the request of the family vacation company Kidy Tour, dietician Elena Tulchina gave tourists some advice on how not to gain weight during their vacation at an all-inclusive hotel:

1. Try to make your vacation as active as possible: swim more, play active games, take long walks. Don't turn the restaurant into the "center of attraction" and the best entertainment at the resort.

2. Drink more water. In hot weather, an adult needs to drink at least 2.5 liters of water, preferably not cold, so as not to stress the body. Remember that sweet soda and cocktails are not a substitute for water. On the contrary, they contain a lot of sugar, and you should not abuse them.

3. At a buffet restaurant, don't rush to grab a plate - first, slowly walk around the food counters and choose what you would like to eat.

4. Place food on a smaller plate, naturally reducing portions.

5. Don't try to take the whole meal at once - it's better to make several approaches to the tables with dishes.

6. Choose a table away from the food counters - this way you will see less of the food, smell the aromatic aromas and avoid the temptation to eat another piece.

7. Try to choose more greens, vegetables and fruits. Don't miss the opportunity to try new and exotic plant products.

8. Eat slowly, enjoying the taste of your food. If you eat without rushing, your body is satiated with less food, and it is also a way to avoid a feeling of heaviness in the stomach and heartburn. After lunch, it is worth taking a walk for half an hour before heading to your room or to the beach - calm movement will improve the digestive process.
