How to Avoid Food Poisoning at an All-Inclusive Hotel

Hotels operating on an all-inclusive basis do not limit guests in food, but its quality is difficult to guarantee. Tourists often overeat or get food poisoning - in any case, it is a shame to lose several days of vacation due to problems with the gastrointestinal tract. RIA Novosti tells how to maintain health and good mood while eating at a hotel:

1. Experts advise avoiding dishes made from finely chopped ingredients, generously covered with mayonnaise or thick sauce - it is better to choose meat or fish in one piece and add fresh vegetables to it.
2. Be careful with exotic foods: Russian stomachs do not always handle unfamiliar, spicy, or savory foods well - this is not poisoning, it is just that the digestive system cannot cope.
3. Combine dishes correctly: if you take a little bit of everything for dinner, you will most likely get a stomach ache - not all the components of dinner may go well with each other.
4. Chew your food thoroughly, this will make the digestion process easier for your body.
5. Too much fresh fruit in the diet can cause intestinal upset due to the large amount of fructose. The same applies to seafood - the body may not cope with the absorption of large amounts of protein.
6. Don't eat suspicious foods. Give preference to the food that you understand and are accustomed to.
7. In all-inclusive hotels, cases of alcohol poisoning of guests are not uncommon. Remember that severe intoxication is not an insurance event.

In any case, a tourist must have insurance, emergency phone numbers and any medications that may be needed. Doctors recommend taking additional digestive enzymes if fatty, heavy or spicy food cannot be avoided on holiday.
