Lufthansa has resumed flights to Cairo after a security suspension.
"Air traffic has resumed as normal," Lufthansa said, according to TASS, noting that two flights were scheduled for Sunday. from Frankfurt am Main and one from Munich.
As a reminder, last Saturday, July 20, the carrier decided to suspend flights to Cairo until the security situation was clarified.
Earlier, British Airways announced it would suspend flights to Cairo for seven days. The suspension is due to security concerns at Egypt's capital airport.
