The Ministry of Construction has denied the ban on apartment rentals.

The Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Utilities has denied a ban on daily apartment rentals, according to Deputy Minister Nikita Stasishin.

 

 

"The decree of the Russian government is aimed exclusively at the application of the rules use of residential premises, and does not limit the rights of citizens to rent apartments,” he said, Interfax reports.

It should be noted that earlier, information appeared in the media about a complete ban on daily apartment rentals.

As a reminder, a law banning hostels in apartment buildings came into effect on October 1, 2019. In other words, using apartments as hostels and offering hotel services there is prohibited.
