Vietnam Railways is introducing discounts of up to 50% on the Hanoi-Da Nang route to encourage regional travel within the country and attract tourists to the capital, the Vietnamese Ministry of Tourism reports.
Accordingly, passengers will receive discounts of 20–50% for trains No. SE 17, 18, 19, 20, running on this route from May 24 to August 12, 2018.
The company is also launching a marketing program for groups on trains traveling from Hanoi to Thong Nhat to meet the growing demand for travel in the summer.
Accordingly, a group of 20-50 travelers who have the same departure and arrival points will receive a discount of 3%.
A group of 51-100 passengers will enjoy a 5% discount, and a group of 101 or more will receive a 7% discount.
Guides will receive a 30% discount on travel. This program is also valid for trains traveling on this route from May 24 to August 12.
