On the Spanish island of Mallorca (Balearic Islands), the women-only Som Dona Hotel welcomed its first guests. Neither men nor children are allowed to stay at this hotel—only women aged 14 and up. There are also no men on the staff.
The four-star Som Dona Hotel is located near the town of Porto Cristo and offers ladies 39 rooms, promising them “comfort, relaxation, healthy food, art and the Mediterranean spirit.”
According to The National, guests can enjoy an outdoor pool, spa, restaurant, library, and rooftop terrace. Rooms at the new hotel start from €75 per night.
