A state of emergency has been declared in Sumatra.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned tourists about a state of emergency in Indonesia due to flooding.

 

 

"Indonesia - A state of emergency has been declared in North Sumatra province on January 30 due to floods and landslides; damage infrastructure; road closures; heavy rains are forecast until January 31," the Russian Foreign Ministry's Situation and Crisis Center (DSCC) reported on Twitter.

As a reminder, the agency previously warned travelers about planned strikes in Italy.
