La Romana (12.21%) and Boca Chica (81%) are next in popularity. Other popular resorts in the Dominican Republic include Juan Dolio, Uvero Alto, and the Samana Peninsula.
Most often, tourists book tours to the Dominican Republic lasting 10 and 14 nights and prefer 5* (72,78%) and 4* (23,5%) hotels for accommodation.
According to Biblio-Globus, the Dominican Republic is annually among the top five winter destinations and is a popular beach holiday destination for Russian tourists year-round. This high demand is due to the country's favorable climate, a wide variety of hotels for various categories of tourists, and the availability of an all-inclusive system, which is preferred by Russian travelers.
