Nordwind launches direct flights to Saudi Arabia

Nordwind Airlines has announced the launch of flights from Moscow to Saudi Arabia (Jeddah). The carrier's press service told TRN about this.

"Located on the shores of the Red Sea, this city is famous for the fact that thousands of pilgrims flock there every year for the Hajj and Umrah. Jeddah, being the economic capital of Saudi Arabia, is also a center of attraction for businessmen from different countries of the world,” the airline said.

It was also noted that starting from May 28, flights departing from Moscow at 10:10 and arriving in Jeddah at 16:20 will be operated every Tuesday and Saturday. Return flights to the Russian capital depart as scheduled on Tuesday and Saturday at 18:20 and arrive at Sheremetyevo on Wednesday and Sunday at 00:30, respectively.

"We are pleased to offer our passengers new travel destinations. Nordwind is the first airline in many years to offer direct scheduled flights to Saudi Arabia, which will undoubtedly help strengthen the cultural and economic ties between the two countries" — emphasized the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nordwind Airlines Ramazan Akpinar.
