The travel service Tutu.ru asked its users, "Do you leave reviews after traveling?" More than 1,500 people responded. It turned out that a quarter of respondents never talk about trips, flights, hotels, restaurants, and other experiences. Travel components. 12% tourists are willing to share negative experiences, while another 9% would only leave a review if they received some kind of reward or bonus.

As the company told TRN, more than half of respondents—54%—are willing to share their trips online. 17% travelers were the most responsible: they always write reviews outlining both the pros and cons of their trip. Nearly 40% respondents do this less regularly, only occasionally.
"Reviews and ratings are often the deciding factor for travel buyers when choosing a hotel for their vacation," says Anastasia Shtripling, head of the "Tours" project at the Tutu.ru travel service. "More than 701,000,000 users purchase tours to hotels with an 'above average' rating, based on tourist reviews, meaning a seven or higher on a ten-point scale. The 8+ rating is currently the most popular among our clients. Regarding the content of reviews, 461,000,000 Tutu.ru users always look at the review sections when researching a hotel, and more than half of them don't stop at the first few sentences but rather read the entire review, sometimes poring over entire pages."
Tutu.ru previously asked train passengers what they talk about with their compartment mates and what topics are especially enjoyable under the clatter of the wheels. Nearly 3,000 respondents responded. It turned out that the vast majority communicate with their compartment mates in some way or another, but not on all topics or with all fellow passengers. 45% respondents are willing to chat with pleasant neighbors, while 9% enjoy not only chatting but also treating fellow passengers to something tasty. About 30% avoid intimate conversations and prefer to speak only on the topic, preferably in short sentences. 18% respondents were unwilling to engage in conversation about life. The most popular topics were travel and stories about themselves, their family, or friends. 8% and 9% respondents were willing to discuss these two topics. 7% were willing to engage in small talk. 3% travelers are willing to reflect on the meaning of life. The topics that received the least votes were politics, weather, religion, art, and, surprisingly, prices and money.
