The first fitness resort has opened in Russia.

In November 2017, Russia's first fitness resort, Villa Plyos, opened in Plyos. It is located on the banks of the Volga River, ten kilometers from the ancient town, on the grounds of the former merchant estate "Tikhaya Pristan," where Feodor Chaliapin rented a dacha.

CONCEPT

The idea for the resort came from a French businessman and his Russian wife, who, after visiting Plyos, were captivated by the picturesque views and incredible atmosphere. Villa Plyos combines the beauty of Russian nature with the services of exemplary French health resorts. The founders developed a new system for comprehensive "rebooting" the body, combining physical exercise, healthy eating, spa programs, art therapy, and eco-architecture.

At the entrance to Villa Ples, guests are greeted by a large pop-art black bear. Created several years ago by renowned French sculptor Richard Orlinski, the bear has become the resort's symbol and a tribute to art as a form of therapy.

The resort boasts comfortable guest villas, outdoor sports fields, running and cycling paths, and hiking trails. You can stay in elegant suites, stroll through fragrant forests, and enjoy picturesque sunsets, but the resort's main highlight is its comprehensive wellness programs. Slim and Slim-Detox are for those seeking a quick body transformation. Health is for anyone looking to improve their fitness, gain strength, and feel better. Anti-Stress will help you regain healthy sleep and complexion, relax, and unwind. For those looking to join a group or simply enjoy a relaxing time at the resort without being immersed in any of the programs, a Guest program is available.

The Villa Plyos fitness resort offers unlimited opportunities for outdoor exercise: skiing and Nordic walking in winter, and strength training, mountain biking, stretching, and yoga in summer. Improve your fitness and discover new possibilities with the guidance of a personal trainer.

The resort's program includes mandatory spa treatments that don't simply complement fitness training; they are an essential part of each of the four programs and are individually tailored to your specific needs. The resort's specialists are proficient in the latest techniques for toning, supporting, and relaxing rituals for those seeking health improvement, stress relief, or Slim and Slim-Detox treatments. Even the resort's regular water promotes beautiful and healthy skin; its pH of 7.5 is optimal for maintaining the skin's natural water-lipid balance.

PROGRAMS

At the beginning of the program, each guest undergoes a fitness test using a gas analyzer, which determines their personal heart rate zones and creates a training plan. This testing allows for individual body characteristics to be taken into account and results to be achieved in the optimal timeframe without compromising health. Villa Plyos specialists determine the time required for dynamic and static work, as well as calculate recovery time. The active recreation program includes four comprehensive programs. An additional program for accompanying guests is available: Guest.

SLIM. Losing excess weight, reducing body size, cleansing the body of waste and toxins, and changing eating habits. The program is based on a reduced-calorie daily diet and increased exercise.

SLIM-DETOX. Lose weight as quickly as possible, cleanse your body of waste and toxins, improve skin quality, and unburden your digestive system. Achieving rapid results without compromising your health is possible through a significant reduction in daily calorie intake and a series of spa treatments specifically aimed at weight loss and skin health. Physical activity should be short-term and moderate in intensity.

HEALTH. Active recreation and a balanced diet without a calorie deficit. The emphasis is on improving overall health, fitness, and muscle tone. Participants can choose their own workouts—strict heart rate zone guidelines are not enforced. Wellness spa treatments complement the program. Calorie intake can be reduced to a level that allows for gradual weight loss without sacrificing energy.

ANTI-STRESS. Restore physical strength, relax the nervous system, and improve sleep. The goal: replenish vital energy and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The program includes a balanced diet without a calorie deficit, spa treatments, and the lowest training load of all the programs, both in terms of time and intensity.

GUEST. This program is for those who want to travel "with friends." It includes hotel accommodation, five meals a day, a meeting with a dietitian and fitness specialist, gas analysis testing, and a trial package of services. After the consultation, training sessions and spa treatments are available for purchase. Art programs of your choice are also available for an additional fee. The program can be scheduled for any number of days.

Training programs and menus are developed individually for each guest based on their goals and performance indicators and incorporate principles of harmonious physical development, proper nutrition, and motivation.

The programs are designed for 4, 7, 10 and 14 days of stay.

One of the resort's special features is a dedicated arts program that combines entertainment and motivation: lectures on healthy lifestyles, art history, culinary and craft master classes, open-air musical evenings, and art workshops.

NUTRITION

At the beginning of the program, each guest receives a consultation with a nutritionist, during which their percentage and distribution of fat and muscle, body water level, and individual metabolic rate are measured. Based on this information, a personalized menu is created for the guest, featuring seasonal produce grown by local farmers.

Developing a balanced menu based on each guest's individual needs is one of the most important tasks for Villa Plyos's chef, Daniel Egreteau. He specializes in classic French and Mediterranean cuisines and enjoys blending the traditions of various countries in his dishes.

INFRASTRUCTURE

The resort, which covers 60 hectares, boasts modern greenhouses where organic vegetables are grown, fruit orchards, a rose garden, and a spring of clean drinking water.

Italian and Russian architects and landscape designers designed the hotel and its surrounding grounds. Natural materials such as wood and stone were used in the design. The chalet's structure was based on the frame of a genuine Russian izba, but with a modern twist. Russian style and a European approach to construction create a bridge between the past and the future.

By the end of 2017, 21 spacious suites with panoramic windows and park views will be open to guests. The number of suites will increase by February 2018.

Guests can enjoy a restaurant, tea room, spa complex, swimming pool, several types of saunas, gyms, a sports shop, and a sports equipment rental service.

You can reach Villa Plyos, located 320 km from Moscow, by comfortable five-star bus with spacious berths and an exclusive interior, or by car, plane, helicopter, or train.
