Ranking of the world's secret beaches

As travel becomes more accessible, finding beautiful destinations that aren't overcrowded is becoming increasingly difficult—especially when it comes to beaches during the summer season. For those dreaming of a secluded, romantic getaway, Skyscanner has compiled a list of virtually untouched, picturesque spots. beaches that package tourists haven't yet reached.

The beach at Kabak Bay in the Turkish resort town of Ölüdeniz is one such gem. It's hard to imagine that in Turkey, an incredibly popular beach destination, there are still corners where you can find seclusion on the shore in the shade of lush trees. Kabak Bay is a haven of peace and tranquility with turquoise waters, surrounded by mountains and dense vegetation.

Surprisingly, you can find hidden beaches in Bulgaria, too. For example, Bolata Beach is just an hour's drive from Varna. This place is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful bays in the world—snow-white sand and azure waters surrounded by majestic cliffs.

The ranking also included Russian resorts. Mamaika Beach (73rd kilometer) in Sochi, where locals seek solitude and escape the crowds, topped the list. The second secret spot was Golubaya Bay in Gelendzhik, with its wild, spacious beaches and snow-white cliffs. Cape Kadosh in Tuapse and the General's Beaches in Kerch also made the list.

Less familiar destinations for Russian travelers include the stunningly beautiful Kakolem Beach in Goa, the heavenly beaches of Tangalle and Nilaveli in Sri Lanka, as well as Sa Calobra in Mallorca and Cala Salada in Ibiza.
