On February 19, 2018, the IV gala awards ceremony of the national Russian Hospitality Awards took place.

The ceremony, where the best hotels in Russia were announced, was traditionally held in the luxurious hall of the Lotte Hotel Moscow, and the blacktie dress code emphasized the status of the guests. For the past year, Konstantin Byshevoy has hosted the grand evening, and Anastasia Fedotkina has joined him.
The finalists in 25 categories were announced on December 11, 2017. They included 115 hotels, 5 general managers, and 3 development companies. The finalists were invited to the awards ceremony.
The list of nominees included several significant breakthroughs: the Dobrolyubovo family estate in the Vladimir region made it to the finals in two categories, while the design hotel Privet, Ya Doma in Nizhny Novgorod, the Soldaya Grand Hotel & Resort in Sudak, and the Rodniki boutique hotel in the Vladimir region also emerged as leaders.
Those gathered in the hall eagerly awaited the announcement of the winners. In the most popular category of 2017, Best Mini-Hotel, the winner was the Alexander House Hotel in St. Petersburg, making its debut at the awards.
The biggest surprise came in the "Discovery of the Year" category, where the winner was a newcomer, the Moss Boutique Hotel, beating its competitors, the Hilton Garden Inn Volgograd, Mirotel Novosibirsk, Eco-hotel Izumrudniy les, and Novotel Adagio ibis, Moscow, by just a few tenths of a point.
The evening's crowning achievement was the awarding of the General Manager of the Year title, whose work deserved special recognition. Thirty-four hoteliers competed for the title, including Martin Zarybnitsky, Dmitry Selkov, Stefan Kur, Darius Juskenas, and Ada Egorova, who won the top award.
For the second year in a row, Villa Elena, Yalta, the Crimean Breeze residence, and the Altay Resort complex confirmed their honorable recognition as winners.
The winners received awards from the Czech brand Lasvit—a significant mark of quality in the hotel industry. For the first time, the finalists were also awarded branded badges.

The Russian Hospitality Awards traditionally brings together government officials, leading HoReCa companies, developers, general managers of hotels and hotel chains, and leading industry and business media outlets, who have covered the project from the very start of the bidding campaign.
The organizers of the landmark Russian Hospitality Awards offer leading global hotel chains and individual hotels, as well as producers of goods and services for the country's hospitality market, the opportunity to meet their peers in the luxurious setting of a hotel under the Korean brand Lotte.
The honor of presenting the main prize was given to Alexey Vashkevich (ViledaProfessional), Natalia Marinich (MOSTAKSI), Elena Bilichenko (Elanna), Olga Trubacheva (WBC), Mikhail Popov (Rostelecom), Tatyana Verkholantseva (F5 Service), Alena Belay (Gerolsteiner), Anton Kuzmin (Villeroy&Boch), Jan Semotam (Lasvit), Andrey Balishansky (MediasystemGroup), Alexander Khilchevsky (Purple), Christian Mayer (CosmosGroup), Savchenko Andrey (Eurowine), Vitaly Khaloshin (1-touch), Anton Khitrov (Duni).
