S7 Airlines, Aeroflot, and Ural Airlines are running a short-term discount promotion. They're selling roundtrip tickets to a number of destinations at a significant discount until January 23, according to Travel.ru.
Siberia Airlines was the first to launch a promotion, significantly reducing roundtrip prices on many of its routes on January 21st. Within a day, Ural Airlines and then Aeroflot responded with their own discounts on the same routes. Ultimately, as in several previous cases, Aeroflot and Ural Airlines are effectively limiting their promotions to routes where they compete with Siberia Airlines, and only on roundtrip flights.
Tickets are on sale until January 23, with flights available from January 30 to May 31 (though prices for May on some routes may be higher than the minimum promotional prices). The promotion typically applies to both baggage-inclusive and baggage-free fares.
