Siberia Airlines (S7 Airlines) plans to launch flights from Moscow to Rome this winter. Flights will operate daily starting December 15, according to Aviablogger.com.
Departure from Moscow (Domodedovo Airport) at 13:05, arrival in Rome (Fiumicino Airport) at 15:00. Return departure at 16:00, arrival in Moscow at 21:45. However, from January 17 to March 5, the flight will not operate on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 2018. The route will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft.
The minimum price for a one-way ticket is 7,912 rubles without baggage allowance or seat selection, while a round-trip ticket costs 18,836 rubles. Fares with baggage allowance and seat selection start at 9,687 rubles and 22,386 rubles, respectively.
As a reminder, Russian and Italian aviation authorities recently agreed to increase the number of flights between the two countries. This agreement made possible the Siberia Airlines flight, an increase in Aeroflot flights on the same route, and a potential increase in Ural Airlines flights to Rome from Zhukovsky, near Moscow.
Ural Airlines has decided to increase the number of flights to two per week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) starting in early October. The minimum price for a one-way ticket with baggage allowance is 7,315 rubles and a roundtrip ticket is 16,857 rubles.
