The International Ski Federation has issued a certificate to the Black Pyramid ski slope, which allows the Gorki Gorod mountain resort in Krasnaya Polyana to host international competitions in slalom, giant slalom and parallel slalom, including including the level of Championships and the World Cup.

The "Black Pyramid" trail is the combined name of trails 5A and 5B. The trail is named after the eponymous peak of the Aibga Ridge, the highest point in the Gorki Gorod resort, located at an altitude of 2,375 meters above sea level. The FIS-certified trail is 1.2 km long, with an elevation difference of up to 231 meters. The slopes are located in the unique climatic zone of Circus-2, at altitudes between 2,050 meters and 2,300 meters above sea level. Due to its location in the mountain valley of Circus-2, Gorki Gorod enjoys the longest ski season in Sochi: from early December to late June. The ski slopes of this certified trail have "blue" and "red" difficulty levels. During the winter season, a snow park opens here with a variety of interesting elements and jib sections: jumps, figures, and lines for beginners and experienced skiers. Even in late May, the snow depth reaches over two meters, and the ski area offers a stunning panoramic view of the peaks of the Main Caucasus Range. Thanks to these factors, as well as the modern infrastructure and international service standards of the Gorki Gorod resort, the slopes of the Circus-2 mountain valley have already become one of the most popular ski areas in Russia for skiers and snowboarders from around the world.
Earlier in June 2019, all of the resort's slopes, snow park, and sports grounds were included in the All-Russian Register of Sports Facilities of the Russian Ministry of Sports. Gorki Gorod soon plans to host training camps, as well as national and international competitions.
