In the upcoming 2018-2019 fall-winter season, international tour operator Pegas Touristik, together with Nordwind Airlines (OOO Severny Veter), is expanding its flight program to the Dominican Republic – one of the most popular beach destinations on the Russian market.

Now, during the high season, the tour operator will operate two new charter flights from Moscow: to the country's capital, Santo Domingo, and to the Samana Peninsula.
The launch of the flight program to Santo Domingo (Las Américas Airport) is scheduled for October 29, 2018. Flights will be operated from Sheremetyevo Airport on Boeing 777-300 aircraft.
Flights to the Samana Peninsula (El Catey Airport) will begin on October 31, 2018, also from Sheremetyevo Airport, but on Boeing 777-200 aircraft. Flights to both destinations are available as part of 10-, 11-, and 22-night tour packages.
Pegas Touristik will also continue its traditional flights to the beach town of Punta Cana and the northern coast's main resort, Puerto Plata. Flights on the Moscow-Punta Cana-Moscow route are operated year-round on Boeing 777-300 aircraft. Packages lasting 4 to 28 nights are available. Flights to Puerto Plata are also operated year-round on Boeing 777-200 aircraft and are available on packages lasting 7 to 28 nights.
ANEX Tour is also expanding its presence in the Dominican Republic in the upcoming winter season. In addition to extending its Moscow flight schedule to Punta Cana, direct charter flights from Moscow to Puerto Plata and from St. Petersburg to La Romana are also planned with AZUR Air.
Starting in late October, daily flights from Moscow to Punta Cana will be operated two days a week on a Boeing 777 aircraft, with Business and Economy Class cabins available. The remaining five flights will be operated on a Boeing 767. Flights from St. Petersburg to La Romana will begin on September 13th, with a frequency of one every 12 days. Finally, AZUR Air will begin flying to Puerto Plata from Moscow on November 2nd, with a frequency of one every ten days. This flight will allow the tour operator's clients to significantly expand their travel options, as Puerto Plata will open up new horizons for exploring the resorts of the Dominican Republic's Atlantic coast.
