The summer season begins in Montenegro

From April 29 to May 6, the Montenegrin resort town of Budva will host a massive carnival, marking the start of the new tourist season. Concerts and other events will be held daily near the walls of the old city. The main carnival procession is planned for the evening of May 2, and a children's costume parade will begin on May 6 at 10:00.

One of Montenegro's most famous fortresses, Forte Mare, has opened to tourists in Herceg Novi, reports BalkanPro.ru. Tickets to the fortress, as last year, cost 2 euros. Admission is available daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Lipska Cave (Lipska pećina), a unique natural attraction located near the town of Cetinje, has also opened its new season. Guided tours of this natural attraction, accompanied by a guide, are offered daily at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 2:00 PM. Tourists can walk at least two kilometers through the cave's chambers, and the vertical drop inside is 300 meters. Admission is €10.90 for adults and €6.90 for children aged 5 to 15. Tours last one hour.
