A forested island in Finland will be transformed into a women-only resort by June of this year. Its founder, Kristina Roth, noted that women can't fully relax in traditional vacation spots—they're surrounded by men who, one way or another, judge their appearance. On a man-free island, women can fully dedicate themselves to relaxation and wellness.
The resort is called SuperShe Island, according to the New York Post. Guests will live in small bungalows built in the forest using eco-friendly materials. The resort can accommodate only ten people at a time. Women will have access to a sauna, spa treatments, cooking classes, yoga, and meditation.
Interestingly, Christina Roth plans to personally review every single one of the many women seeking to vacation on the island. She emphasizes that she is not at all a man-hater and may someday allow men to visit the SuperShe resort.
