Starting March 25, 2018, Simferopol Airport will begin operating its spring/summer flight schedule. According to the airport's press service, for the first time in the hub's history, 18 airlines will operate flights to Crimea to 67 destinations, according to Rostourism.

During the spring-summer navigation period, air traffic with Krasnodar, Belgorod, Murmansk, Khabarovsk, Irkutsk, Volgograd, Tomsk, and other cities, which was not carried out during the winter period, is resumed.
This summer, new destinations will also be opened, flights to which from Simferopol have never been operated before: Tambov, Saransk, Nalchik, Makhachkala, Vladikavkaz, Ulyanovsk, Astrakhan, Pskov, and Noyabrsk.
In addition, air traffic with Stavropol and Grozny, which had not been carried out in recent years, will resume.

In 2017, the airline operated flights from Crimea to 25 destinations.
Rossiya Airlines will connect Simferopol with Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Perm, Yekaterinburg, and 11 other cities.

"Crimea is one of the most popular resorts for Russians both in the peak summer and in the off-season. According to travel aggregators, when searching for a vacation destination under 40%, Russian tourists choose trips to the peninsula. The opening of new flights and the resumption of air service to cities that were not served during the winter will make travel to Crimea even more accessible for Russian citizens," says Oleg Safonov, Head of the Federal Tourism Agency.
