135 guides will work in the Moscow metro.

As part of the "Metro Guide" project, which launched in Moscow in April, 135 guides have received certificates and are now able to professionally guide tourists through the capital's underground.

Personal accounts will be created for accredited guides on the metro website, Interfax reports. Tourists can find information about the date, time, and route of upcoming excursions online.

Tours will be conducted in compliance with all metro rules and safety requirements. For example, metro tours will not be offered during rush hour to avoid disrupting passengers. Furthermore, each tour group will be limited to 20 people.

During the tour, guides will tell you about the history of the Moscow Metro and its stations, interesting design elements and unusual facts, how the metro operates, and much more.
