A bus carrying tourists from Finland to Murmansk was involved in an accident last weekend on the Kandalaksha-Alakurtti highway, Nation News reports.

A Volvo passenger bus was heading to Murmansk after a tour and was carrying Russian tourists. At one point The driver lost control and was unable to negotiate a turn due to slippery conditions. As a result, the bus veered into a ditch and, fortunately, did not overturn. Thanks to the bus's ability to roll over, serious consequences were avoided, and no one was injured in the accident.
It was also noted that the road surface had been treated with de-icing materials. Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the details of the incident.
