"One of the conditions for reaching the semifinals of the 'Masters of Hospitality' competition is the development of an original project related to the tourism industry. The "Masters of Hospitality" competition consists of several stages: registration and selection, regional semi-finals, and the final. Over 20,000 participants registered for the competition following the application process. During the selection stage (online testing), competition experts assessed general and professional knowledge, intellectual abilities, and management competencies.
Regional semi-finals will be held from February to April in nine Russian regions. The final will take place in April 2020 and will bring together 200 industry experts. The winners will be mentored by renowned restaurateurs, hoteliers, and hospitality managers. The competition's best projects may be implemented with the support of the Federal Passenger Company, Rostourism, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation.
