On the evening of December 1, a tourist bus was involved in a traffic accident in Tunisia. According to the country's Ministry of the Interior, 22 people were killed.

According to the department, the bus skidded into a ditch near the city of Ain Draham. At the time of the incident, there were 42 tourists and the driver on board, 22 of whom died, the rest received injuries of varying degrees.
A little later, the Russian Embassy in Tunisia reported that there were no Russians among the injured or killed.
"According to preliminary data received from the competent authorities of the Republic of Tunisia, there are no Russian citizens among the dead or injured in the road accident that occurred on December 1st of this year near the city of Ain Draham (Jendouba province)," reads a statement published on the department's official Twitter page.
