The Novgorod Region has launched the "Novgorod Rus Guest Card," which allows tourists to save money while traveling within the region. Cardholders receive free admission to city museums and tours, as well as discounts at hotels and restaurants.
The guest card is valid for one, two, or three days, TASS reports. It allows access to 128 museums and over 30 excursions. Around 70 hotels and restaurants—partners of the "WeLike Novgorod Card" project—offer discounts on their services. As a discount card, it remains valid even after its expiration date.
The map comes with a guide to the Novgorod region, covering sites in Veliky Novgorod and nine districts of the region.
A one-day pass costs 1,300 rubles, a two-day pass costs 1,900 rubles, and a three-day pass costs 2,700 rubles. It can be purchased on the project's website and at designated retail locations in Veliky Novgorod and the surrounding region.
According to regional authorities, approximately 721,300 tourists visiting the Novgorod Region travel independently. The map will allow for the tracking of routes and attractions that generate the most interest among visitors to the region, with a view to developing them.
