Natalie Tours has begun paying compensation to tourists for cancelled trips. Vladimir Vorobyov, president of the tour operator, announced this on his Facebook page.
On July 4, Panorama Tour LLC informed agencies about "Additional compensation mechanisms for tourists for cancelled trips are being considered. Tourists with regular travel packages can use their purchased airline tickets and issued visas as partial compensation for their losses. Other compensation mechanisms, such as guaranteed provision of tourist services in the future, have also been proposed," he noted.
The company estimates that compensation in the form of returned airline tickets alone will cover up to 301,000 rubles in potential losses for tourists. As of yesterday, 800,000 rubles were allocated for direct financial payments for cancelled trips.
