Ural Airlines intends to make its Moscow-Blagoveshchensk flight, currently operated with a stopover in Yekaterinburg, direct. The carrier will also replace the currently used Airbus A320 aircraft with a more capacious Airbus A321 (probably, this is a version of the Airbus A321 with an increased flight range, allowing it to reach Blagoveshchensk without landing), reports Travel.ru's own correspondent.
The first nonstop flight is currently scheduled for August 2 (the date may change if new aircraft deliveries are delayed). It will operate three times a week for the first month. Departure from Moscow on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays at 19.25, arriving in Blagoveshchensk at 8.45. Return departure on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays at 10.00, arriving in Moscow at 11.55. In addition, flights via Yekaterinburg will remain.
From September 7, the direct flight will be operated daily. Departure from Moscow at 17.30, arrival in Blagoveshchensk at 6.50. Return departure at 8.05, arrival in Moscow at 10.00. At the same time, the existing flight via Yekaterinburg continues to be listed in the schedule for the fall - but there is no guarantee that it will actually be operated after the launch of the direct flight. Since it is cheaper, it may make sense to book it - in case of cancellation, the airline will transfer to a direct flight.
The minimum price for a one-way ticket on a direct flight is currently 18,680 rubles (with 10 kilograms of checked baggage and 5 kilograms of hand luggage) or 19,680 rubles (with 23 kilograms of checked baggage). Let us recall that S7 Airlines will soon also open a direct flight. The latter's fares are lower, so the price of Ural Airlines will probably also decrease over time.
