
In September, as part of several tourist events in Tashkent, an exhibition entitled “Alexander the Great: the Path to Roxolana” will be held.
This event is timed to coincide with the launch of the international expedition “Along the Roads of Alexander the Great”, which will take place from September 30 to October 7. The participants of this expedition will visit Baysun, Termez, Shakhrisabz, Bukhara and Tashkent.
It should be noted that, along with leading Uzbek artists, their Greek colleagues will also take part in this exhibition.
Tourists will get acquainted with archaeological monuments, museum artifacts, versions of reconstructions of the routes of the royal campaigns and events that led to the great reconciliation, the crown of which was the wedding of Alexander and Roxana. The working languages of the expedition are Russian, English and Greek.
It also became known that the company Marakanda Expedition, which is the organizer of these events, is already preparing for further promotion of the expedition and attracting tourists from Italy and Greece.
