On August 18-19, 2017, the International Honey Ethnofestival will be held in the Burzyansky District.
For the third time, the Burzyan district, the cradle of the famous Burzyan bee, is hosting the International Ethnofestival “Boryan baly – bashort dany” (“Burzyan honey – Bashkir glory").
The unique nature of Bashkiria: the purest air of the Ural Mountains, the crystal waters of mountain rivers, the diversity of meadow and steppe grasses, the preserved traditions of beekeeping - all this creates amazing conditions for the creation of Bashkir honey, which has been known for decades far beyond the borders of the republic. Since time immemorial, having preserved the traditions of beekeeping, Bashkortostan is famous throughout the world for its honey.
Bashkir honey is a very useful and tasty medicine! It is difficult to list all the medicinal properties of such a bee product as honey. Daily consumption of honey for preventive purposes strengthens the body's immune system.
This year, an active business program is planned within the framework of the International Honey Ethnofestival. The Burzyansky District will be visited by representatives of the tourism industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk and Samara regions. As part of their visit, they will get acquainted with the accommodation facilities of the Burzyansky District, visit the main attractions and, of course, the famous Shulgan-Tash cave (Kapova cave).
A seminar will be held for organizations and individual entrepreneurs who have peasant farms, including those engaged in beekeeping. The seminar will address issues of product certification and the possibility of entering large retail chains with high-quality products from peasant farms in the republic. Representatives of large retail chains of stores are expected among the invited speakers.
During the round table, representatives of the tourism industry together with representatives of peasant farms will discuss issues of cooperation and opportunities for creating new tourism products to increase tourist flows, and will become familiar with new, unique offers for tourists, such as, for example, uleotherapy.
During the second day of the International Ethnofestival of Honey, guests will enjoy an active entertainment program of the International Ethnofestival of Honey, which includes an exhibition and sale of honey and beekeeping products, a master class on making beehives, creative competitions “The Best Hive”, “Beekeeping Dishes”, “The Best Beehive”, “The Most Delicious Honey”, an entertainment program, sports games and competitions.
Guests of the festival will also enjoy a concert featuring young Bashkir pop stars and a disco.
And of course, everyone will be able to enjoy the delicious gold of Bashkiria – Bashkir honey.
