Kamchatka Diary. Arrival at Cape Zelenyi

Last night we transported 3 tons of our things to the pier and unloaded them next to the ship that will take us to Cape Green.

Zhenya and Kolya stayed overnight on the boat, and we (me, Nastya, Volodya and Katya) went to sleep in the apartment.

Now it was necessary to load everything onto the boat early in the morning, tow the inflatable Poseidon, having previously assembled it, and also assemble the Zodiac and load it onto the ship.

Dragging a heavy Yamaha motor.

We set sail. The port greets us with scenes from the film "Rise of the Machines."

The journey from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to our Mys Zeleny took about three to four hours. Nastya and I slept in the cabin almost the entire journey.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a largo seal.

The things were unloaded onto the Poseidon and taken to the shore.

We expected that there would still be snow on the cape, but it was all green, which means it lived up to its name.

A small blanket of snow still hung over the stream. A few minutes later, it collapsed under our heavy gaze.

Having unloaded the last of our belongings and hauled out the boats, we decided we deserved a bowl of Doshirak. This was our first lunch on Mys Zeleny.
