While average vacationers sometimes request a hotel room with a sea view or a steak cooked to a certain degree, wealthy tourists have their own quirks. Stay One Degree, a company specializing in luxury vacations, has named the 10 most extravagant requests from wealthy clients. Business Insider reports this.
Stay One Degree, a luxury travel portal, has compiled a list of the most bizarre requests from the wealthy.
The list begins with a request from one of the company's clients for a huge aquarium stocked with sharks in their vacation apartment. Another request was for a haunted house in or near the bedroom, which would add variety to the vacation's cultural program. Some wealthy clients insist on a helipad. The company noted that one of the main reasons people seek properties with a helipad is the inaccessibility of the airport for ordinary people. In 2017, interest in such helipads increased by 500%, Stay One Degree representatives added.
Among the extravagant wishes of wealthy tourists also are: - the presence of a real portrait artist who can capture one of the episodes of the holiday on canvas at any time;
— a wine cellar with 30-year-old Bordeaux wine and 50-year-old whiskey;
- bulletproof glass in all main rooms of the residence;
— private coastline and 24-hour access to a private beach.
Rounding out the top 10 quirks of the wealthy are rustic garden houses for children with full amenities, including electricity, running water, a cinema, and a games room; a private zoo with live exotic animals, preferably a tiger; and a large dressing room with a personal stylist.
