
Aeroflot Airlines is ready to transport Russian fans to the 2018 World Cup national team games for a symbolic 5 rubles. Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Savelyev made the announcement during a meeting with the Russian president, Interfax reports.
During a meeting with Vladimir Putin The head of Aeroflot noted that the company would like to support Russian football fans. To which the president immediately offered a suggestion: "Will you transport the fans for free?" V. Savelyev had to slightly disappoint the president by saying that it wouldn't be free, but that it would be possible for 5 rubles.
Aeroflot is now ready to sell all Russian fans plane tickets to the cities hosting Russian national team matches for a nominal fee of 5 rubles. The airline plans to allocate approximately 70,000 seats for this purpose. Departures will be available three days before and after the match. Ticket sales will begin on January 1.

The FIFA World Cup will be held in Russian cities from June 14 to July 15, 2018. In the group stage, our team will play Saudi Arabia in Moscow on June 14, Egypt in St. Petersburg on June 19, and Uruguay in Samara on June 25.
